Indonesia Bali Trip 2015 4D4N - Day 2 Sanur Tour

If you had not read Day 1 of this trip, here you go : Day 1. Continuing on, this is Day 2 of our Bali Trip.

We start of the day by waking up super early in the morning at 7a.m. Do not ask me why but in Bali, your body will automatically wake up around that time. It was like that for me for all 4 days! We wanted to watch the sunrise but due to the night before, every thing is so scary, we decided to skip it and we literally slacked in the villa till around 9 a.m. when we asked the maid to bring us to buy sim card first!

The card looks something like this - Credit to google images
So we bought our very own sim card at 12K IDR (SGDS1.30), if you own IPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6 etc, do not worry, the shop keeper have a cutter to cut. I went to some place and they all sell at around SGD$2+ so i guessed we got a good deal.
I would recommend SIMPATI simcard as they have the best connection in Bali and they have good packages if you are tech savvy. You just need to top up more credit by going to any phone stalls/ convenience stall and tell them how much you want

After that we went back to the villa and continue slacking till around 12p.m when we left to a cafe at Sanur Beach as Lynette had an appointment with her Tattoo Artist. The cafe is call Luthu's Coffee Shop and they serve pretty nice Flat White if you enjoy coffee (I don't like coffee but Lynette said it was good) so i traded my Flat White ($22K IDR) with her Latte ($23K IDR) as for some reason, it tasted sweeter.

A nice cup of coffee to start the day
Flat White with a cute little cookie
By the way, the cookie taste amazing! Then her tattoo artist came and they have a short discussion. Then we left and went on to walk up and down Sanur Beach and their market/shops. We also went to Hardy's to buy some necessities as we realised we did not have enough soap and Lynette did not bring her toothbrush. After that, you might find us quite retarded, we went back to Sanur Beach and walked up and down again for almost the whole day! Some couples saw us and even stated: "This two girls have been walking around here for the whole day"

Thus, after that for some reason, we walked back to Hardy's to buy cup noodles and water again! YES AGAIN! LIKE FREAKING STUPID!  and then took a Blue Bird (will talk about it below) back to our villa

Blue Bird Taxi - The only trustworthy taxi you can find in Bali

There is 2 other companies that imitates how Blue Bird looks like. Do not fall for it! The correct car is in Light Blue, have the word Blue Bird Group on the windscreen and the logo above as well. The safest way to get a taxi is to call them ((0361) 701111), tell them your Indonesian number or roaming number. Let them know where you are and wait there. There will still be irritating poachers who will ask you whether you want taxi or if you are at the side of the road, some taxis will honk at you every time they are near you and might even stop in front of you!  A full guide here: http://blog.villa-bali.com/2014/08/bali-taxi-guide

After we reached our villa, we proceeded on to do our daily ritual and i had my favourite Nong Shim Kimchi Cup Noodles. But, no matter what, a cup noodle will never satisfy my hunger hence, we called for Pizza Delivery!! We ordered 2 pizzas from Pizza Club (+62 361 281992), both small but enough to satisfy 2 stomachs as their small is almost the size of our regular pizzas and it is really cheap. Just go to their Facebook, look at their menu, give them a call and make your order :)

I shall continue with Day 3 maybe when i wake up tomorrow and if i have no work.
Cheers and Goodnight
